Amidst Verstappen’s ongoing championships streak in F1, Red Bull advisor Helmut Marko has taken the time to shed light on the factor that could force him to retire.
Max Verstappen was involved in a huge spat with the FIA during the Singapore GP weekend. The governing body punished him for swearing during a press conference by forcing him to do a day’s community service work.

Ex-F1 driver wants Max Verstappen to focus on ‘title’ tussle
While Max Verstappen was extremely frustrated during the Singapore GP weekend, the 2016 world champion Nico Rosberg has urged him to focus on the 2024 season. The former has a tussle at hand against McLaren’s Lando Norris for the world championship.
As things stand, Verstappen is only 52 points ahead of Norris.
The ongoing campaign has only six rounds remaining on the F1 calendar. The sport is currently in an almost month-long break and this time should help Verstappen and Red Bull get their edge back with the RB20.
Since the start of the second half of the campaign, Verstappen has just not looked at complete ease within the cockpit of the 2024 challenger. Keeping in view everything that has been discussed, several eyes will be glued on the 26-year-old’s exploits at the United States GP.
