STILLWATER — Arkansas coach Sam Pittman hasn’t been to Oklahoma State since 1998, but Cowboy fans left him with a lasting impression.
“We went in there and got beat when I was at OU,” Pittman said of a 20-point Bedlam loss as OU’s offensive line coach. “Very, very loud, very, very close. As in they can stand up and look right on top of you. We’ve talked to our coaching staff and our players about that well because we can’t let their fans be a distraction to us when we are trying to learn on the sidelines. Trying to talk about the next series whatever it may be. But it is extremely close. I think it is the closest in the country.”
